Repeat Prescriptions
If you take medication on a long term basis, you can request a repeat prescription online via the link at the top of this page. If you are not registered for this service, please ask at reception or the dispensary for details.
Alternatively, you can bring your repeat prescription request into the practice.
Your prescription will normally be available for you to collect within 48 hours.
Please note that we do not accept requests for repeat prescriptions over the telephone.
We will not accept requests for any medication which you do not currently have on your repeat list. If you require medication which you have not had for some time, you will need to make a routine appointment to see a GP.
Dispensing and Delivery of Medications
Littlebury Medical Centre has an on-site dispensary where patients can have their prescription dispensed if they live within the dispensing area. The practice offers a free medication delivery service for our dispensing patients.
For those patients who are not eligible to use our Dispensary, there are two pharmacies in the main town centre.
Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
